How To Thrive In Changing Times: Build A Resilient Organisation

The world is always changing — economic uncertainty, geopolitical upheaval, technological disruption, competitive pressure — and amidst all this, business leaders must still deliver growth. The recent 2025 Board & CEO Insights Report from Eton Bridge Partners, an executive search and leadership advisory firm, shows that when facing change, one trait rises above all others: resilience.

Across listed, PE-backed and privately owned firms, around 40% of executives cited resilience as essential to a CEO’s success. The report emphasises that truly effective leaders build resilience into their organisational DNA — in strategy, operations, governance, reputation, and financial buffers.

“Ability to maintain focus and pace…. adapt and pivot in a calm and well-communicated way” are now non-negotiable behaviours. Resilience is “more powerful in organisations where trust is high and collaboration and communication are valued…”

At Miradorus, we’ve always made Resilience — the ability to bounce back from adversity — a core pillar of our training. It runs through our coaching and leadership programmes and is embedded in what we call “The Service Mentality” (Adaptability, Ownership, Empathy, Enthusiasm, Balance, Responsibility). In fact, every one of these characteristics builds resilience, because together they give people the tools to handle every situation that the world may throw at them. Firms that embed resilience structurally tend to withstand disruption better — and continue to deliver growth.

We welcome this report as it highlights the importance of our core company values and reinforces why our programmes build a culture that can withstand disruption and deliver sustained growth.
