Maia Rapkin

What I do I am a commercially aware independent project management consultant specialising in the design and delivery of global leadership development programs. I have significant experience in managing projects using the latest thinking and technologies to design and deliver blended learning solutions. I also have a BSc Honours in Modern Languages and Marketing from Salford University.

Why do I do it? What makes me motivated is knowing that I am helping leaders being the best version of themselves. I thrive on building relationships with clients so that they feel like I am part of their team rather than just a supplier. I am always learning something new and enjoy the variety of getting involved in the whole process from design through to delivery.

Who I work with For the past seven years, I have worked with some very interesting clients including bp, CMS, Novartis, Merck, Henkel, Reckitt Benickser, Sonova, Old Mutual Wealth, Parker Hannifin and Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to that, I spent eight years as Senior Project Manager at Mercer and Oliver Wyman and earned a track record for successfully leading the design and delivery of numerous global leadership development and culture change programmes to blue-chip companies such as Fujitsu, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, La Banque Postale, Equinor and AstraZeneca.

How I do what I do? My key strengths lie in excellent client relationships, flexible project planning, experienced support of the design process and proactive management of complex delivery. I am fluent in French, actively improving my Spanish (as I now live in Spain) and speak some German.

Where am I going? Learning, building relationships, enjoying my work!
